About me
Hi there! As a passionate and skilled tinkerer, I've created this website for you to learn more about me.
Skills
Projects
Here are some projects I'm most proud of. I have many more projects that you can find on my GitHub and YouTube channel.
YouTube channel
I have a YouTube channel where I make videos about my projects. Click the logo to visit my YouTube channel.
SimpleFOCGenerator
SimpleFOC is an open-source motor control library for controlling brushless DC and stepper motors. I created a website that generates the SimpleFOC code for your hardware. Click the logo to visit the website.
6 DOF racing simulator
For my secondary school graduation project, I designed, fabricated, built, and programmed a 6 DOF racing simulator.
Belgian Eurobot Junior champion
I participated and won the Belgian Eurobot Junior competition.
Dynamic motion roller coaster simulation in Python
As part of my bachelor's thesis, I programmed a dynamic motion simulation of a roller coaster in Python that calculates the velocity, G-force, and more along the track.
Intradermal injection device
For my master's thesis, I developed the drivetrain for an intradermal injection device. The details are covered by a non-disclosure agreement, so I’m unable to share more about the project. I received a grade of 20/20 for this work.
Roller coaster
For my bachelor's thesis, I took on the role of team leader and specialized in the mechanical design aspect while working collaboratively with my team on developing the electromechanical design of a roller coaster.
Vibrating screen ArcelorMittal Ghent
For the 2 Ba EM engineering technology project, my group analyzed and optimized a vibrating screen at ArcelorMittal Ghent.
Smaller projects
There are a lot of smaller projects I made over the years, many of which you can find on my YouTube channel.

Education
Secondary education
In secondary school, I studied engineering, in the 4th grade, we participated in Eurobot Junior but didn't get far in the competition. In the 5th grade, we participated again with some friends and won. In the 6th grade, I made my racing simulator as my graduation project and scored 92.4%.
Higher education
At university, I initially pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering. When COVID-19 hit, I realized I wanted a more hands-on engineering experience, so I switched to a Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering Technology. In parallel, I continued exploring theoretical topics that interested me in my free time. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I pursued a Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering Technology, graduating summa cum laude with a score of 20/20 on my master’s thesis.
